Awesome Business That Went Down Yesterday

All sorts of awesomeness happened yesterday.  First off, I finally finished Leviticus (hallelujah!) but that leaves me in Numbers (whamp whaaa).  Things I now know about Moses:

  1. Not a good speaker
  2. Drama queen

Numbers 11:15
If this is how you intend to treat me just go ahead and kill me now!

Seriously, Moses? God talks to you.  What more do you want?  I like to think that if the Good Lord came down and chit chatted with me, I'd do whatever He said.  It's so easy to say what we think we'd do if we were put in certain situations.  There's a life lesson there.  Don't rush to judgement unless you have been faced with that situation yourself.  Because unless you have, then you can't say with 100% certainty that you'd behave one way or the other.

Off my soap box now.

It freakin' snowed yesterday!  Let me say that again because I'm so excited (and I can breathe) it snowed in Oklahoma.  Our boss gave us a snow day because she said it's been too long since we've had one.  I'm so thankful for my boss.

Since I left work at noon I was able to get all sorts of errands done.  I got to pick up Evie Pie Honey Bunch from school.  She was confused and surprised to see me there.  She just stared for a minute and then goes "Momma!" and ran leaping into my arms.  It was the sweetest reunion ever.  The Mister could take a lesson from her on how to act when you first see me.

I also made three two and a half curtains.  They are so much better than the old ones.  I loved the burlap but it made our house look washed out.  These are so much better.  I made one for the dining room, too but when I hung it the hem made a three inch nose dive in the end.  So I had to take it down, actually measure this time and cut it.  I still need to re-hem it.  I got tired and decided I would do it later.  Which probably means I'll do it tonight.  Our little ole house is comin' together folks!

O and one more braggity brag thing I did yesterday (aside from the three loads of laundry, two loads of dishes and making dinner for two toddlers)...I kicked The Treadmill's a-double-s.  I ran 2.5 miles in 30 minutes.  I felt so amazing afterwards.  I really have fallen in love with running.

*Before you think I've gone back to instagram, I haven't.  I took these pictures with my phone and as well all know they're crappy pictures.  So why not put a filter on them (picfx) and call it art?
